Yahoo... Well we are in NEW YORK. We did not have one problem on the way here. The jeep towed great, better than what we had thought. We should be at our first stop by noon time. We are here , Niagara County Camping Resort . This place is alright, can't find the pool but the kids are having fun swimming in the lake. We should be heading to see Niagara Falls later this afternoon. We had breakfast outside this morning , that was fun. Last night the kids had their first ever campfire. They loved it. First thing Nikole asked today was, Dad are we going to have another fire tonight? I think she liked it. Well today will be the falls, and in the morning I think we are heading to six flags. Niagara Falls was really fun. We took a ride on the Maid Of The Mist, it's a boat that brings you up close to the falls. We all got soaked from the mist. After that we ate and took a stroll through the park. The kids saw a rock climbing wall , and just had to take the challenge. Nikole made it up three times, Zakary only made it up about half way. The guy that operated the rock climb gave away books as prizes , they both walked away with something. Zak got his just for his effort in trying. After that we walked across rainbow bridge into Canada. The following day we went to Six Flags Darien Lake. It was a sort of overcast day so it wasn't very busy at all. Nikole's first ride of the day was The Predator , a old wooden roller coaster that had some mean hills and was a long ride. After a few other rides we talked the kids into their first steel rail coaster called Viper. The height requirement was only 48'' . Which meant it was safe for them to ride. So they gave it a try. It had it all loops, corkscrews, and even upside down loops. Zakary got off saying nope won't try that again. Nikole on the other hand was saying let's do it again. So we did, a few time actually. She wasn't up for Superman as of yet, so we did a few water rides and others. There were a lot of rides there that we have never seen. To name a few . UFO, a stand up Round Up that turned you up straight as you spun. Silver Bullet , that was also like the Round Up except you sat in a car as it was spinning you around and flipping you. Rodeo Round Up was also a really cool spinney ride. Then came Super Man. Nikole was a little intimidated but quickly got over her fear. As soon as we got off she was ready to ride it again. Together through out the day we ended up riding it 6 times. We even had the first car , front seat. WOW!!! It was kind of like Super Man back in MA. But different . So between Super Man and Rock Climbing Wall , Michelle and I feel we might be in trouble with this adventure girl. We were going to leave New York the following day but decided to stay and rest. We went to Walmart and got some more fishing things. Zakary caught his first fish, through the eye not the mouth . Hmmmm the things that make you go Hmmmm. Lucky catch, We figured. We ended that last night in New York with another campfire, and a phone call to my brother John. We left New York around 11:30 am the next morning and Headed out for OHIO...Watch out here we come...... |
