2:00 p.m. we arrived at Lazy days JULY '03RV center 6130 Lazy days Boulevard
Seffner (Tampa) FL 33584-2968, by cab. My first initial thought was
wow it is really big.
Once inside it appeared to be much like any other new car
dealer. We were handed off quite efficiently through the Lazy
day's pick up procedure. This included a visit to the businessman,
Wayne Marks, then off to pick up.
We then spent the next 20
minutes with Sid Woodard who explained to us in rapid fashion the Thousand
Trails Inc. National American Corporation. The club offers a
discounted camping rate for a yearly membership fee of $395.00. Each
night would only be $5.00 with a maximum stay of 7 days.
Then John Paul, the
technician in charge of our walk around, brought us out to our new home by
way of golf cart. This entire procedure lasted almost 2 hours.
We went over every inch of our new Damon Daybreak. The volume of
information was overwhelming. John Paul was very patient and
helpful. He gave us many money and time saving tips that we made us
feel as if God was sending a helper directly to us. Our salesman
Larry Butler was with us throughout the walk around. He even gave us
a house warming gift, a fruit basket, which Ron enjoyed our first evening
at “home”. John Paul sent two mechanics to fix the three little
problems we encountered. The slide on the canopy, the back storage
door needed adjustment and we needed a front license plate bracket.
While they were here we asked about a second set of keys and we mentioned
that we were unable to by rv trine which will allow us to use any toilet
paper in the bathroom instead of costly rv paper. (This was a
John Paul tip.) They offered to have a set of keys made for us and
they brought us a complimentary bottle of the RV trine. Everyone
here is so nice.
We decided to venture out
for dinner. We went to Stacy’s all you can eat. This was
another tip from John Paul. The food was worth the $5.OO we each
spent. Ron drove there and back. He seemed to get really
comfortable on the way home. He even backed it into the spot.
It’s now 10:20
p.m. on our first night. So far so good. God has been present
the whole way. We have such a peace about our decision to
travel. I know that during my prayer time I get nothing but assured
that this is just what God has in store for us and that by going we will
be dependant on Him allowing us to glorify Him with the sacrifice of our
lives. It will not always be easier but He will never leave us or
forsake us. His children will never beg for bread. We have the
confidence assurance that God has a plan for us. We may not have all
the details but we do know that He is in charge and we will follow His
lead. We thank and praise our heavenly father for all our
blessings. Especially the people He sends us daily to make our trip
smoother and most importantly His son who showed us how to love and
Glorify our heavenly father, Abba, the Alpha and the Omega, I am, God. To
Him be all the glory forever and ever.
