January to July
Original source: January to July.htm2002 January to July July August September October November December 2003 JANUARY FEBRUARY March APRIL January to July What a rollercoaster ride we've been on with selling the house!!! As of June 28 our house will no longer belong to us. By July 1 we hope to be completely out of debt. July 5 our goal is to be on the road. Today is the 30th of May. I have given my notice at the library and am looking forward to my last day being June 14th. Since the purchase of the motor-home we have bought and sold a pick-up. (We thought we would tow it but it was just too small for our needs.) Now we have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee sport. It is going to be great. We can tow it flat and there are no restrictions. Our current project is to find good homes for our babies, moose, mouse and bear. And to have an moving sale. We still have the motorcycle and the car to deal with too. With all the work coming up I'm just amazed at the absolute peace I have over this whole situation. I know God will provide for all of our needs no matter what it is. He will provide good loving homes for our pets and buyers for our stuff. He will guide us along our way. He will go ahead of us to make our path smooth. Great is the God we serve! All praise and Glory to our heavenly Father. June 9, 2002 What a week of absolute testing. Satan has been attacking in full force. We thank our heavenly father for keeping us safe in His shadow. We have been forged in the fire and are coming out with less impurities. God's peace is really the peace that passes all understanding. I want to thank everyone for all their prayers on our behalf. God has heard you and is helping us through our trial. Praise Him! Our brand new motor home has a leak. At first we thought we had a serious mold problem. But like all things God was there to bless us. I thank Him for Ron and the talent He gave him. Ron located the leak, took apart the cabinet, re-caulked the roof and we're drying out the wood. We had to replace the foam pad which is overhead in the passenger seat. It holds the visor and the fan. Again thank God the damage was repairable and we caught it in time. Bleach will kill the mold, we should be ok. Besides we all know God is in charge. He will sustain us in all things. Today the new buyers of our house came to visit. Their children loved it. In fact they were ready to stay. What a wonderful family they are. We pray that the blessings we received here will stay with them. They are buying more than a house this is a home with the protection of God at the gate. June 28, 2002 It's been a while I know but anyone who has moved will have a really good idea about what has been happening. We gave our dog away almost two weeks ago. I had a few really bad days after that but it's been a blessing to us to not have him here over the past 5 days as our home has become a zoo. It was so bad yesterday we couldn't think straight. Too many late nights (early mornings really) and too much stuff. It's amazing how much we have gotten rid of. I need to thank first God for providing us with wonderful friends. You know the real ones that show up because you need them even though you didn't think to impose on them. If it wasn't for them we'd be in some serious trouble getting rid of all our clutter. Then I need to thank those friends who spent countless hours here supporting and moving and driving all the stuff away. We wish God's blessings on you all for you deserve His abundance. We also have to thank our very thoughtful neighbors who also have been wonderful. God has blessed us here and we will miss all of you. Now for the shocking news we are not closing today as planned. For some unknown reason no one can really say but the bank in Florida is not ready with the paperwork to close. So we have been pushed off until July 1, 2002. We found this out for sure last night at 6 p.m.. At first it was an upset but in hind sight we see that God knew what we needed more than we did. This little extra time will let us go to signing unstressed and ready to hit the road. God willing and hopefully we'll leave July 2. Thanks for enjoying this rollercoaster ride with us. It's been and adventure already and it hasn't even started. P.S. just a side note: This ride is not nearly as fun as Superman at 6 flags New England. You have to try it! We went last Tuesday to buy our passes now we'll be able to enjoy them all across the country. Oh we still have the cats if anyone is interested. And our phone is disconnected so you'll have to use the e-mail. We will try to get to you within 24 hours. June 30, 2002 Praise God He is always on time. We found a new home for our cats today. Our brother and sister in Christ took pity on us and decided to take them in. They will live right up the street from where they had their kittens. So it's been a giant circle for them. We pray God's blessings on them and their new owners. The church had an outdoor service tonight. It gave us an opportunity to show off the new home. It was nice to get it out of the parking lot. I actually got to drive it. Ron was pretty nervous the whole time. We made it without a scratch. We also have come to the conclusion that we will be closing on July 2. God willing. We are sort of undecided right now if we will stay or go on July 3. But being led by the spirit means prayer and that is what we're going to do.
